Gu Ja-yeol, Chairman of KITA, stated, "Recently, the Korean Wave has permeated the daily lives of people worldwide through K-Food, and food exports are expected to expand further." He added, "Through this agreement, we will actively support lowering the barriers for overseas sales in the industry and address difficulties such as high entry fees for large shopping malls and logistics challenges, so that our agro-fisheries food exports can achieve tangible results."
Based on this agreement, KITA will support promising agro-fisheries food companies recommended by aT in all processes from entry to product registration, logistics, marketing, and settlement on the overseas direct sales mall "Kmall24" operated by the association. Additionally, KITA and aT will jointly conduct buyer matching and promotion by linking their B2B trading platforms, "TradeKorea" and "K-FoodTrade."
Furthermore, to participate in the global carbon neutrality movement, they agreed to join the "Global Green Food Day" campaign aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions generated during food production, distribution, and consumption processes, and spreading a low-carbon, eco-friendly food culture.
