[Asia Economy Reporter Changhwan Lee] Prudential Life Insurance announced on the 5th that it will establish a sales-specialized company called 'KB Life Partners.'


The initial capital is 30 billion KRW, and it is scheduled to officially launch in June.


The name ‘KB Life Partners’ was created by combining ‘KB,’ the identity of KB Financial Group, and ‘Life Partners,’ which signifies accompanying customers in their lives, according to the company.


Prudential Life Insurance will also change the title of its planners from ‘Life Planner’ to ‘Life Partner.’ The name ‘Life Partner’ was finalized through preference surveys conducted with customers, employees, and planners after consulting with a brand specialist firm.


KB Life Partners is expected to grow as the representative outbound model within KB Financial Group and serve as a bridge connecting KB Financial Group and its customers.


Affiliated Life Partners will visit customers directly to provide customized comprehensive financial services and utilize KB Financial Group’s infrastructure to propose financial services in a wider range of areas, contributing to the advancement of financial sales companies, the company emphasized.


Min Kisik, CEO of Prudential Life Insurance, stated, “Prudential Life Insurance has grown based on the industry’s top-level planner channel. By leveraging this human infrastructure, we will establish an independent growth foundation to provide expanded comprehensive financial consulting beyond insurance and leap forward as a premium sales-specialized company, a new business model that does not exist in Korea.”
