[Asia Economy Reporter Ji Yeon-jin] The KOSPI index turned negative within about 10 minutes of opening on the 5th.

As of 9:17 AM that day, the index stood at 2754.04, down 0.15% compared to the previous day. The KOSPI opened at 2765.50, up 7.60 points (0.28%) from the previous day, but foreign and institutional investors' selling pressure narrowed the gains.
