Lotte Holdings announced on the 4th that Vice President Lee Hoon-ki has been appointed as the CEO of Lotte Healthcare. Last month on the 10th, Lotte's board of directors approved an investment of 70 billion KRW to establish a healthcare specialized company, Lotte Healthcare. Lotte Healthcare will support personalized health management through a healthcare platform. It plans to provide solutions across all areas of health management, including diagnosis, prescription, and management, based on scientific evidence..
Vice President Lee, born in 1967, joined Lotte Chemical (formerly Honam Petrochemical) in 1990 and moved to Lotte Group in 1995 along with Chairman Shin Dong-bin. He is known to have played a key role in quickly understanding Chairman Shin's intentions and establishing strategic planning within the Corporate Planning Office.
Lee served as CEO of Lotte Chemical Titan in 2010 and moved to Lotte Rental in 2015, where he held positions as Head of Business Planning and CEO. In 2020, he transferred to Lotte Holdings and has been serving as the Head of ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) Management Innovation Office.
