LG Household & Health Care, Vice Chairman Cha Seok-yong Reappointed as Inside Director

LG Household & Health Care held the 21st regular shareholders' meeting on the 28th at the LG Gwanghwamun Building in Jongno-gu, Seoul.

[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] LG Household & Health Care held its 21st regular general meeting of shareholders on the 28th at the LG Gwanghwamun Building in Jongno-gu, Seoul, and reappointed Vice Chairman Cha Seok-yong as an inside director.

At the meeting, it was also resolved to simplify the English company name from 'LG HOUSEHOLD & HEALTH CARE, LTD.' to 'LG H&H Co., Ltd.'

Furthermore, the amendment to the articles of incorporation, which added 'import' to the existing business purposes of 'manufacturing, processing, sales, and retail distribution of pharmaceuticals, raw materials for pharmaceuticals, quasi-drugs, and medical devices,' as well as the financial statements and director appointments, were all approved as originally proposed.

For outside directors, Lee Tae-hee, Vice President of Planning at Kookmin University, and Kim Sang-hoon, Dean of the College of Business Administration and Graduate School of Business at Seoul National University, were reappointed, and Lee Woo-young, Professor at the College of Law at Seoul National University, was newly appointed.

Considering that consolidated sales last year reached an all-time high, LG Household & Health Care decided to pay a cash dividend of 12,000 KRW per common share and 12,050 KRW per preferred share.
