[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Gwi-yeol] Unit 1 of the Hanul Nuclear Power Plant in Uljin-gun, Gyeongbuk, has ceased power generation.

Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters of Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power announced on the 24th that Hanul Unit 1 stopped power generation on the 23rd at 11:36 PM for inspection due to an abnormality in the turbine control oil system.

Hanul Nuclear Power Plant stated that it is maintaining a stable condition and there is no external radiation leakage caused by the shutdown.

Hanul Unit 1 is scheduled to resume power generation as soon as maintenance of the turbine control oil system is completed.
