Lee Yubin (Yonsei University) advanced to the women's 1500m short track final at the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. On the 16th, at the Beijing Capital Indoor Stadium in China, she finished first in the women's 1500m semifinal heat 1 with a time of 2 minutes 22.157 seconds. Along with Arianna Fontana (Italy, 2 minutes 22.196 seconds), who finished second, she secured a ticket to the final. Meanwhile, Kim Arang (Goyang City Hall), who raced alongside them, crossed the finish line fourth (2 minutes 22.420 seconds), failing to advance to the final.
