Celltrion Reports Record High Operating Profit of 753.9 Billion KRW Last Year

[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Seon-ae] Celltrion recorded its highest-ever performance last year, with sales close to 1.9 trillion KRW. Operating profit was also the highest ever.

Celltrion announced on the 16th that its consolidated operating profit for last year was preliminarily estimated at 753.9 billion KRW, an increase of 5.86% compared to the year before last.

Sales increased by 2.26% from a year earlier to 1.8908 trillion KRW. Net profit rose 20.13% to 623.7 billion KRW.

Operating profit in the fourth quarter of last year was 219 billion KRW, up 32.94% from the same period two years ago. Sales and net profit in the fourth quarter of last year were 601.1 billion KRW and 156.5 billion KRW, respectively.
