[Asia Economy Reporter Minji Lee] Gyeongnam Steel announced on the 15th that its operating profit last year reached 6,897,980,000 KRW, an increase of 30.9% compared to the previous year. Sales grew by 15% to 342.2 billion KRW, and net profit increased by 105.9% to 6,129,860,000 KRW. The company explained, "Sales increased significantly due to the rise in raw material prices."
On the same day, the company announced a cash dividend of 100 KRW per share. The dividend yield is 2.3%, and the total dividend amount is 2.5 billion KRW.
