[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-yoon] The Seoul Regional Headquarters of NongHyup (Head Hwang Jun-gu) announced on the 14th that it held a flower sharing event to help flower farmers struggling to secure sales channels due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic in celebration of Valentine's Day.

On this day, Seoul NongHyup held a '1 Table 1 Flower' flower sharing event and distributed about 400 desk flowerpots, including roses and cyclamens, to employees coming to work.

The event was attended by Head Hwang, Sales Headquarters Director Lim Soon-hyuk, and Labor Union Chairman Han Sung-sik, who personally handed out roses and desk flowerpots to employees. They also urged active participation in promoting flower consumption by encouraging people to express their feelings with flowers to family, friends, and lovers on birthdays and other anniversaries.

Head Hwang said, "Due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic and its resurgence, major flower-related events are expected to continue being held non-face-to-face, causing ongoing difficulties. Going forward, Seoul NongHyup will continue to hold flower sharing events for customers and employees to help flower farmers overcome these challenges."
