[Asia Economy Reporter Ji Yeon-jin] Dong-A Hwasung announced on the 14th that its consolidated sales for last year reached 288.7 billion KRW, a 10.3% increase compared to the same period last year.
During this period, operating profit increased by 22.1% to 16.2 billion KRW, and net profit for the period rose by 478.0% to 20.3 billion KRW.
The company explained, "Operating profit increased through cost reduction and management rationalization," and added, "Profit grew due to foreign currency gains resulting from exchange rate effects."
