Online video service (OTT) platform Disney+ is presenting its first Korean genre series. It is "Grid," written by Lee Soo-yeon, the screenwriter of "Secret Forest." Disney+ announced on the 19th that the drama will be released starting from the 16th of next month. The mystery thriller depicts events that unfold when a so-called "Ghost" appears as an accomplice to a murderer after 24 years. The title "Grid" refers to the name of a protective shield that saved humanity from solar winds, which is said to have been created by the Ghost. The director is Rigen, who directed the film "The Divine Move: The Wrathful." The cast includes Seo Kang-joon, Kim Ah-joong, Kim Mu-yeol, Kim Sung-kyun, and Lee Si-young, and it was produced by Acemaker Movieworks and Ace Factory. Starting from the 16th of next month, one episode will be released every Wednesday.
