[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongnam announced that Lee Seon-gi (57), Director of the Disabled Welfare Division of Gyeongsangnam-do, will be inaugurated as the 35th Deputy Governor of Hapcheon-gun on the 1st.


Deputy Governor Lee's first schedule after inauguration was to visit and pay respects at the Chung-hon Tower and the March 1st Independence Movement Memorial Tower. Afterward, he went to the county office, received his appointment certificate from Governor Moon Jun-hee, and considering the COVID-19 situation, he will not hold a separate inauguration ceremony and will immediately start working.


Deputy Governor Lee is originally from Changnyeong, Gyeongnam. He graduated from Masan Gyeongsang High School and Yeungnam University and completed his master's course at Changwon University. He began his public service career in 1988 at the Planning and Management Office of Gyeongnam Provincial Office and has held various positions such as Information Statistics Officer at the Planning and Coordination Office of Gyeongsangnam-do, Director of the Secretariat at Gyeongnam Provincial Geochang College, Director of the Gyeongsangnam-do Archives, and Director of the Disabled Welfare Division.


Deputy Governor Lee said, "I consider it meaningful to be able to work in Hapcheon-gun," and expressed his thoughts, saying, "I will do my best to realize the will of Governor Moon Jun-hee and the residents to build a 'Happy Citizens, Hopeful Hapcheon.'


Meanwhile, the 34th Deputy Governor Choi Yong-nam was transferred to Gyeongsangnam-do on January 1 and was appointed as the Director of the Women's Capacity Development Center.
