Construction Industry Social Contribution Foundation and Construction Mutual Aid Association Donate 62 Million Won Worth of Rice to the Red Cross

The Construction Industry Social Contribution Foundation and the Construction Mutual Aid Association announced on the 29th that they have donated rice worth 62 million KRW to low-income vulnerable groups and held a 'Love Rice Sharing Project' delivery ceremony at the headquarters of the Korean Red Cross in Myeongdong, Seoul.

The Construction Industry Social Contribution Foundation has been conducting the Love Rice Sharing event as a year-end neighbor-helping project every year. This year, in collaboration with the Korean Red Cross, they supported over 1,100 bags of white rice worth 62 million KRW to social welfare facilities such as regional children's centers and organizations for the disabled nationwide.

Kim Sang-su, chairman of the foundation, said, "The construction industry will continue to take the lead in carrying out social contribution activities."
