[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Uisikju Company, which operates the non-face-to-face mobile laundry service Laundrigo, announced on the 23rd that it has unveiled the lifestyle brand 'Life goes on' and will introduce a new commerce service that allows customers to receive various daily necessities along with their laundry without shipping fees.
Until now, Laundrigo has been testing the delivery of products along with laundry through its dedicated laundry collection box called 'Lundret.' After about two years of direct lifestyle product development, the company launched its own brand, Life goes on. Life goes on products can be purchased in the app store when applying for Laundrigo service and are delivered together with laundry in the Lundret without additional shipping fees.
This service fundamentally eliminates the use of delivery boxes through Lundret, providing customers with minimal product packaging and significantly reducing waste. The savings from packaging costs are reflected in product research and development (R&D) to offer high-quality products at reasonable prices. Additionally, used containers can be easily recycled by returning them to the Lundret, operating the entire process from purchase to collection in an eco-friendly virtuous cycle.
Laundrigo customers use the laundry service regularly about 3.5 times per month on average. Accordingly, the company explained that it plans to enhance a new commerce experience where customers regularly receive daily necessities along with their laundry according to their laundry lifestyle. Life goes on products include items used regularly in daily life such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, toothpaste, toothbrushes, as well as towels, bedding, robes, pajamas, T-shirts, aprons, underwear, and socks?items that can be managed through Laundrigo’s laundry and repair services.
In addition to Life goes on products, the Laundrigo store also offers external products needed regularly in daily life, such as lint removers, tape cleaners for clothing care, masks, sanitary pads, and deodorants. Customers can conveniently receive these daily necessities at reduced prices with savings on shipping and packaging costs while using the laundry service.
Jo Seong-woo, CEO of Uisikju Company, said, "Through Laundrigo, we aim not only to innovate the laundry industry but also to identify and solve daily needs one by one." He added, "We will continue to strive to reduce unnecessary packaging, cut costs, and improve distribution efficiency through changes in purchasing and delivery methods."
