KB Kookmin Card Receives Minister of SMEs and Startups Award at the '2021 Venture Startup Promotion Merit Awards'

[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] KB Kookmin Card announced on the 21st that it received the Minister of SMEs and Startups Award in the startup activation category at the '2021 Venture Startup Promotion Merit Awards.'

The Venture Startup Promotion Merit Awards, hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups since 1999, recognize individuals and organizations that have contributed to the development of the venture startup ecosystem and innovative growth. KB Kookmin Card was awarded the Minister of SMEs and Startups Award in recognition of its contributions to increasing startup sales, linking infrastructure, and supporting investments for corporate growth.

To support the growth of venture startups, KB Kookmin Card has been operating the startup accelerating program 'Future Nine' since 2017. Through this program, it has selected 54 companies and continues various support and collaborations, including ▲promoting joint commercialization and collaborating on new product and technology development ▲platform collaboration with KB Pay, Liiv Mate, regular payments, Gukca Mall, etc. ▲utilizing payment data and marketing support ▲investment using the exclusive Future Nine fund ▲linking investments from affiliates and consortium companies.

A KB Kookmin Card official said, "The Future Nine program has established itself as an icon that helps develop the venture startup ecosystem through sincere collaboration with startups over the past five years," adding, "We plan to continue supporting startups so that they can quickly introduce innovative technologies and services to customers."
