[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Trainee Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Dongmyung University signed an agreement on the 13th to foster 'Do-ing Talent' through student internships with seven key industrial and economic institutions in the Busan area.


The institutions involved in the agreement are ▲Korea Technology Finance Corporation ▲Busan Institute of Industrial Science and Innovation ▲Busan Center for Creative Economy and Innovation ▲Busan Technopark ▲Social Enterprise Research Institute ▲Busan Design Promotion Foundation ▲Busan Talent Lifelong Education Promotion Foundation.


Under the agreement, Dongmyung University and the institutions will mutually cooperate in fostering talent in relevant fields by ▲providing practical experience and skill development through student internships ▲forming joint consultative bodies to develop new technologies and resolve difficulties ▲offering special lectures and appointing instructors related to students' future planning.


President Jeon Ho-hwan explained the purpose of Dongmyung University's educational innovation, Do-ing Education, through a video to the participating organizations. He also presented a blueprint for building infrastructure around the university to promote the co-development of Busan and Dongmyung University.


President Jeon said, "Through coaching activities at the institutional level from time to time, all students in every department at Dongmyung University will be provided with a 'career milestone' to advance domestically and internationally after graduation."


At the signing ceremony, a small performance was held by Na Haeri, CEO of Nanugi World and a mentor professor at Dongmyung University, and Park Hyung-bae, performing OSTs from Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin.


Park Hyung-bae overcame visual impairment and has been active as a young artist before becoming a visiting professor at Dongmyung University.


Nanugi World is a youth enterprise founded by professional musicians in the Busan area, where youth artist activities are low, aiming to promote harmony between people with and without disabilities through music and cultural arts.
