Seoul Average Apartment Price Exceeds 1.2 Billion Won... Up 200 Million Won in One Year

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyemin] The average apartment sale price in Seoul has surpassed 1.2 billion KRW.

According to KB Live Real Estate's monthly housing price trend on the 25th, the average apartment sale price in Seoul this month recorded 1.21639 billion KRW. This is an increase of 200 million KRW compared to 1.0971 billion KRW in October last year, rising over the course of one year.

The average apartment sale price in Seoul exceeded 1 billion KRW (1.0312 billion KRW) in September last year, and surpassed 1.1 billion KRW (1.11123 billion KRW) in April this year, seven months later. Since then, it has risen by another 100 million KRW in six months.

The median sale price of apartments in the 11 Gangnam area autonomous districts exceeded 1.3 billion KRW for the first time, reaching 1.30417 billion KRW. The median sale price refers to the price in the middle when apartment prices are arranged in order.

The median sale price of apartments in the 14 Gangbuk area autonomous districts, which exceeded 900 million KRW last month, was recorded at 916.67 million KRW this month.

The average sale price of apartments in the 3rd quartile in Seoul exceeded 1.1 billion KRW for the first time, reaching 1.10126 billion KRW.

By area, the average sale price of medium-sized apartments in Seoul (exclusive area over 85㎡ and up to 102㎡) exceeded 1.4 billion KRW (1.41897 billion KRW). Medium-sized apartments in the Gangnam area exceeded 1.6 billion KRW, and those in the Gangbuk area exceeded 1.1 billion KRW for the first time.
