[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongguk Lee] Gumi University in Gyeongbuk signed an industry-academia cooperation agreement on the 14th with L&F, a next-generation secondary battery material company, regarding employment reservations and held a recruitment briefing session for current students.
L&F, headquartered in Dalseo-gu, Daegu, is a company that manufactures and sells cathode active materials, which are the core of lithium-ion secondary batteries. It is a KOSDAQ-listed company and a partner of LG Chem.
Through this agreement, L&F will hire more than 10 students from the Department of Automotive Mechanical Engineering every year. On this day, at Seongsil Hall of Gumi University, a recruitment briefing session was held to hire talents required for processes such as automatic control necessary for the production of cathode active materials for secondary batteries.
Lee Seunghwan, Director of Talent Development, emphasized, "We will continue to strengthen industry-academia cooperation with companies that have high growth potential in the 4th industrial revolution, overcome the employment environment stagnated by COVID-19, and spare no support and effort in developing various programs to revitalize student employment."
Meanwhile, L&F is a partner company of Gumi University's early employment-type contract department, the Smart Factory Department, and is also expanding cooperation in operating the eco-friendly automobile maintenance class of the Link (lLINC+) project, a social customized workforce training project.
