[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] LF affiliate Tricycle announced on the 14th that Boribori, a specialized mall for infants and children, has maintained its position as the number one app in monthly active users (MAU) for infant and children's clothing shopping apps.
According to iGAWorks Mobile Index, a mobile big data platform company, last month LF Boribori's monthly app users reached 210,000, ranking first in the infant and children's clothing category among fashion and apparel shopping apps. This accounts for 42.5% of the total 500,000 users of infant and children's clothing shopping apps.
Boribori has held the number one spot in monthly active users for infant and children's clothing shopping apps every month since January 2019, when iGAWorks first launched the Mobile Index service. Despite the increasing number of new entrants into the infant and children's market each year, Boribori has secured this unrivaled title for 31 consecutive months.
Boribori explained, "Since the second half of last year, we have significantly expanded product categories to include not only fashion but also food, toys, books, and daily necessities to support successful parenting for parents with young children, which has had a positive impact."
In particular, Boribori dominated the number one spot in app users across all age groups, from teenagers to those over 60. Not only the main consumer group of people in their 30s and 40s but also teenagers, people in their 20s, and those over 50 ranked first in user numbers, proving that the "Eight Pocket" generation actively uses LF Boribori for their nieces and grandchildren.
The steady popularity is attributed to providing a customized shopping environment based on 13 years of accumulated customer data and affiliated brands since its launch. LF Boribori, launched in 2008, currently has 7.5 million members.
