[Muan=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Oh Hwan-joo] Muan County, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim San) announced on the 3rd that it is accepting applications for outstanding job-creating companies targeting businesses that have actively contributed to new workforce recruitment despite the difficult economic conditions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The applicants must be small and medium-sized enterprises located within the county that have been operating normally for more than two years as of the 31st, with a permanent employee employment growth rate of 5% or more (for businesses with fewer than 50 employees, an increase of 3 or more employees).
The evaluation criteria include job creation, employment stability, and sound corporate management, and outstanding companies will be finally selected in November after screening by Jeollanam-do.
Outstanding job-creating companies will be awarded a certification plaque and a support fund of 20 million KRW for improving the employment environment, and will receive financial and administrative support such as exemption from local tax audits for three years after certification.
Companies wishing to apply must visit the Future Growth Division Job Team at Muan County Office or submit documents by registered mail by the 15th.
Governor Kim San said, “Despite the impact of COVID-19 that began last year, we will take the lead in making Muan a great place to work by providing incentives to companies that have worked hard to create jobs and improve employee welfare,” and added, “We ask for the interest and participation of many small and medium-sized enterprises in the county.”
For more details regarding the recruitment of outstanding job-creating companies, please refer to the county website or contact the Future Growth Division Job Team.
