Andong-si, Extension of the '2021 Regulatory Improvement Idea Contest' Period

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongguk Lee] Andong City, Gyeongbuk Province, is extending the submission period for the "2021 Andong City Regulatory Improvement Idea Contest," originally scheduled to end on August 20, until the 17th of next month to collect a wider range of regulatory difficulty opinions from citizens and businesses.

Anyone interested in regulatory improvement can participate in this contest, and the contest topics cover five areas: ▲Citizen Welfare ▲Daily Life ▲Employment and Jobs ▲Support for Small Business Owners and SMEs ▲New Industries.

Entries will go through first and second rounds of screening, and the final winners will be selected by the Andong City Regulatory Reform Committee. Winners (1 Grand Prize, 2 Excellence Awards, and 7 Encouragement Awards) will receive a mayoral citation and Andong Love Gift Certificates worth between 100,000 and 700,000 KRW.

The winning entries will be proposed to central government ministries to be adopted as regulatory improvement measures.
