원본보기 아이콘[Boseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Cheon-seok] Jeollanam-do Boseong-gun (Governor Kim Cheol-woo) announced on the 18th that local entrepreneur KNC Co., Ltd. (CEO Chae Hyun-jae) donated 5 million won to Beolgyo-eup Administrative Welfare Center.
KNC Co., Ltd. is the only environmental specialized company in Boseong-gun, contributing to regional development and taking the lead in solving local issues such as supporting students from underprivileged families and youth welfare.
Beolgyo-eup Administrative Welfare Center plans to select 10 youths and students from families in difficulty within the jurisdiction through the Jeonnam Community Chest of Korea and provide each with 500,000 won.
CEO Chae Hyun-jae said, “I am glad to be able to return the money earned in the region for the future of the region, and I want to continuously help youths overcome economic difficulties and focus on their studies.”
Seon Nam-gyu, head of Beolgyo-eup, said, “I appreciate the donation for neighbors in need during the difficult times of COVID-19, and I hope the culture of sharing in the local community for a bright society where we live together will continue to spread.”
