[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Ju-yeon] Seoul reported 388 new COVID-19 cases.
According to Seoul City on the 17th, the number of new confirmed cases in Seoul from midnight to 6 p.m. was 388, based on a mid-day tally. This is an increase of 65 cases compared to the previous day (323 cases).
There were 3 imported cases and 385 domestic infections.
Among cluster infection cases, 2 additional confirmed cases related to the Songpa-gu Seoul Complex Logistics Center (August) were reported, bringing the total to 27. Additionally, 6 cases were reported at indoor sports facilities in the metropolitan area, 4 cases at indoor sports facilities in Jungnang-gu (August), 3 cases at Noryangjin Fish Market in Dongjak-gu, and 17 cases from other cluster infections. There were 226 confirmed cases from individual contact infections, and 127 cases are under investigation for infection routes.
Meanwhile, the cumulative number of confirmed cases in Seoul is 72,473.
