[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Shin Dong-ho] Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (Mayor Seo Dae-seok) announced on the 9th that it is recruiting students for the second half of the year Dodream Seo-gu Lifelong Learning Center regular programs.


The regular programs for the second half of the year will be conducted in a hybrid format of face-to-face and non-face-to-face education, depending on the social distancing level.


The programs include ▲ Humanities Academy to Find Myself with 6 courses such as "Stress Management for a Happy Life" and "Humanities through Picture Books," ▲ Citizen Academy to Understand Us with 3 courses such as "Global Urban Communities and Citizen Culture" and "Wise Pet Care."


▲ Exciting and Fun Culture and Arts Academy with 3 courses such as "Classical Happiness" and "Making My Own Pottery," and ▲ Multi-cropping Academy Preparing for Tomorrow with 4 courses such as "Aromatherapy and Alternative Medicine" and "Creating a Digital Autobiography through Video."


▲ Seo-gu Academy to Find Village Treasures includes 2 courses such as "VR Creator Training Course" and "Our Village Ecological Interpreter," recruiting a total of 18 programs and about 400 students.


The application period is from the 16th to the 27th, and applications can be made on the Dodream Seo-gu Lifelong Learning Center website.


Tuition fees vary by program from free to 20,000 KRW, and material costs are borne individually.


A Seo-gu official said, "Through customized lifelong education for residents, we plan to provide safe and diverse lifelong education to residents so that they can relieve the stress of body and mind exhausted by COVID-19 and improve their quality of life by receiving desired education anytime and anywhere."
