[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongnam Province, conducted an inspection of the quarantine system at summer vacation tourist sites and experience facilities on the 6th, as social distancing level 4 was expanded and movement to vacation spots increased during the holiday season.
The inspection focused on the implementation of quarantine rules at tourist facilities with high visitor traffic, such as the rest facilities around Haeinsa Temple, Sorigil Trail, and the Daejanggyeong Theme Park.
In particular, facility managers were urged to establish a thorough quarantine system in accordance with daily quarantine guidelines, including frequent hand washing, mandatory mask wearing, maintaining a 1-2 meter distance between workers, social distancing during meals, and providing individual tourists with quarantine rule guidance.
Choi Yong-nam, Deputy Governor, who led the inspection that day, stated, “Although public fatigue has intensified due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, it is a time when mutual understanding among workers and courteous guidance are necessary to prevent negligence in quarantine measures.” He added, “I am grateful to the workers who are doing their best in their respective positions.”
