[Naju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] Naju City, Jeollanam-do (Mayor Kang In-gyu) announced on the 23rd that 'Electroland Power Center Naju Branch' (CEO Ok Chiguk) donated 50 electric fans (worth 2.5 million KRW) for vulnerable households.
The Electroland Naju branch, which opened the day before, is located next to Naju General Hospital in Seongbuk-dong.
The Power Center is Electroland's premium electronics store.
Jang Seon-jin, team leader of the Naju branch, said, "We donated fans to commemorate the opening with the hope that neighbors in need will overcome the hot summer weather well," and added, "We will continue to actively participate in coexistence and sharing in the local community."
Mayor Kang In-gyu said, "Despite the difficult economic conditions caused by COVID-19, I am grateful for the warm hearts of the Naju branch employees who donated valuable goods for their neighbors," and added, "This will be a great gift to the residents struggling in the heat."
