[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jong-hwa] Now that the monsoon season has ended and the scorching heat continues, this is the best time to purchase a heating appliance like a boiler.

When the winter cold begins, replacement demand surges, making it difficult to buy products at the desired time. Additionally, sudden breakdowns can cause difficulties in heating and hot water use, so inspecting and replacing boilers in summer is an effective way to minimize inconvenience.

Moreover, this year is an especially good summer to buy boilers due to local governments' efforts to promote eco-friendly condensing boilers, manufacturers diversifying their product lineups in line with mandatory implementation, and new market changes responding to the untact (contactless) era. Like the old proverb "The early bird catches the worm," Kyungdong Navien offers purchase tips for a smart boiler life.

In the Untact Era, Transparently Check Boiler Prices and Use the 'Purchase Support Service'

Unlike the widespread online product purchases, boilers have traditionally focused on offline distribution. Online purchases were only possible on some websites operated by installation companies themselves. Because installation fees vary by company and consumers had difficulty even confirming standard prices when buying products, it was inconvenient for consumers.

Kyungdong Navien is leading changes in the boiler industry by presenting official standard prices for boiler purchase, installation, and A/S through its official online shopping mall 'Navien House' to resolve these consumer inconveniences.

In particular, a function recommending the perfect boiler for individuals is placed prominently on the Navien House homepage. Customers can select their preferred boiler type and main features, the heating area of their residence, and hot water usage to check the estimated purchase and installation cost of the boiler.

By adding the installation area search, customers can also find nearby Kyungdong Navien dealerships where consultation requests can be made, allowing them to purchase reliable products from selected online partners linked to Navien House's official dealerships.

Kyungdong Navien also offers the 'Navien AI Service' based on its AI technology and big data. This service enables one-stop processes from boiler purchase consultation to self-diagnosis of product issues and A/S requests.

When customers upload photos of the nameplate of their current Kyungdong Navien boiler, indoor thermostat, and boiler installation environment, the AI analyzes the existing boiler information and recommends new boiler models suited to the installation environment and capacity. This feature also provides estimated purchase and installation costs and connects customers to nearby official dealerships, making boiler purchase easy and fast.

When boiler operation problems occur, the Navien AI Service recognizes product error codes and guides customers on self-diagnosis methods, and A/S requests can be made conveniently. This reflects Kyungdong Navien's intention to provide quick and convenient services while reducing unnecessary face-to-face and phone consultations in line with the untact era.

Seoul Citizens Can Purchase Eco-Friendly Condensing Boilers More Affordably with Additional Budget for Support Project

Although the budget for this year's eco-friendly condensing boiler support project was quickly exhausted, Seoul citizens now have another chance this summer to receive subsidies and purchase condensing boilers at a lower price.

This is because Seoul City, which has been the most active in promoting eco-friendly condensing boilers, announced plans to allocate an additional budget of 4.7 billion KRW for 23,000 units to continue the support project.

This project supports the reduction of energy use and air pollutant emissions by promoting eco-friendly condensing boilers and is open to all Seoul citizens. The application period is from the 14th of last month to August 31, but it may close early depending on budget exhaustion. Installing an eco-friendly certified condensing boiler through this support project allows recipients to receive subsidies, making purchases even more affordable.

Choose the Right Product for You from a Diverse Product Lineup

As boiler manufacturers have diversified their eco-friendly condensing boiler lineups in line with the condensing boiler mandate, it is important to select a product that fits your desired price range and features. Kyungdong Navien, in particular, has expanded eco-friendly condensing boiler options by diversifying its product lineup to reflect various consumer needs.

The lineup includes premium condensing products like the NCB900 and NCB700 series, which embody Kyungdong Navien's technological expertise, as well as the NCB500 and NCB300 series, which offer excellent heating performance at reasonable prices. All these products have obtained eco-friendly certification and are eligible for benefits from the support project.

If you want personalized product recommendations, visiting offline stores to directly check and receive recommendations for suitable products is also a good method. Kyungdong Navien has created differentiated showrooms at official dealerships where customers can directly view and experience products.

Starting with the Kyungdong Navien Paju dealership, which was the first in the boiler industry to receive the Ministry of Environment's 'Green Store' certification in 2019, official dealerships in metropolitan areas such as Incheon and Pyeongtaek, as well as key regions nationwide including Sejong, Cheonan, Daegu, Iksan, and Busan, have also received Green Store certification.

Green Store certification is awarded to stores that sell eco-friendly products and promote eco-friendly consumer lifestyles. Besides official dealerships, Kyungdong Navien operates experiential stores at Hanam Starfield and Electromart inside Eunpyeong Emart to meet consumers.
