SK Rent-a-Car, Ranked No. 1 in Consumer Well-being Environment Satisfaction Index for 10 Consecutive Years

The ‘Consumer Well-being Environment Satisfaction Index’ is a certification system based on an evaluation model with five dimensions?Health, Environment, Safety, Satisfaction, and Social Responsibility?developed by the Korea Standards Association (KSA) and Yonsei University Environmental Science and Technology Research Institute to assess the well-being level of products and services used by consumers and to recognize the top companies in each category for well-being satisfaction.
SK Rent-a-Car, which has won first place in the rental car category for 10 consecutive years, is a company with over 30 years of experience since starting its business in 1988. It has established the ‘rental car business’ in South Korea and is leading business model innovation that reflects customer trends in the rental car industry.
In addition, SK Rent-a-Car received high evaluations in ‘Environment,’ ‘Satisfaction,’ and ‘Social Responsibility’ by reflecting the new social trend of switching to electric vehicles and introducing services that enhance customer satisfaction and convenience amid the COVID-19 situation.
In March, SK Rent-a-Car also announced its participation in the ‘Korean-style Zero-Emission Vehicle Transition 100’ campaign led by the Ministry of Environment, pledging to convert 100% of its rental vehicles to eco-friendly vehicles by 2030.
Furthermore, SK Rent-a-Car launched ‘EzyDirect,’ a significantly improved version of its existing long-term rental online direct service, to provide an environment where customers can more easily and conveniently obtain long-term rental quotes and contracts non-face-to-face amid the ongoing COVID-19 situation.
