[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Yoon Jamin] Education aimed at guaranteeing children's right to play in the village and creating a healthy local community is drawing attention.

Gonghana Cooperative announced on the 18th that it conducted a total of eight sessions of village play coordinator training under the theme "Finding Jobs in the Village."

This program was selected and promoted as part of the "2021 Lifelong Learning Job Contest Project," hosted by the Gwangju Lifelong Education Promotion Foundation and sponsored by Gwangju Metropolitan City.

It was planned to address the shortage of children's playtime and the increasing restrictions on play activities with peers due to rapid social changes such as COVID-19.

By fostering professional village play coordinators based on a thorough understanding of play, correcting misconceptions, and emphasizing the characteristics of play such as "fun," "spontaneity," and "cooperation and rules," it presented a creative lifelong learning job model.

All 15 registered trainees completed the course, achieving a 100% completion rate.

Among the trainees, 10 took the Level 2 Play Culture Education Instructor and Level 2 Traditional Play Instructor certification exams and all passed, becoming professional village play coordinators.

The 15 graduates contribute their talents by visiting local children's centers and elementary schools through the social contribution program "Donggodongrak Dreaming Play School," sharing what they have learned with village children in need of play.

A total of 15 institutions participated in the Donggodongrak Dreaming Play School, and more than 70% of the talent donation has been carried out so far.

A representative of Gonghana Cooperative said, "Since the Donggodongrak Dreaming Play School received great responses, we look forward to the future activities of the village play coordinators."
