[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Soyoung] Jeong Cheong-rae, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea, sharply criticized former Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol's guestbook entry left during his visit to Yonsei University's Kim Dae-jung Library, saying, "The presidency is not a place for practice."

On the 16th, Jeong posted a message titled "How can you govern a country without knowing the language?" on his Facebook, expressing this criticism.

He began by saying, "President Kim Dae-jung's presidential campaign catchphrase was 'a prepared president.' He was a reliable Kim Dae-jung." He then pointed out, "What does political trainee Yoon Seok-yeol intend to learn? Even for driving a car, trainees are not entrusted with the steering wheel."

He continued with sharp criticism, saying, "How can someone who cannot even properly write a guestbook entry and confuses opening a horizon with opening a horizon line, and cannot distinguish between insight and reflection, dream of becoming president? It's wishful thinking."

Earlier, on the 11th, former Prosecutor General Yoon visited the Kim Dae-jung Library, reviewed materials related to the late former President Kim Dae-jung, and received explanations about his life and policy management.

In the guestbook, Yoon wrote, "I will deeply engrave the reflection and teachings of President Kim Dae-jung, who opened a new horizon for the Republic of Korea based on informatization and the value of human rights."

In response, Representative Jeong has been issuing sharp criticisms toward Yoon continuously. On the 15th, he posted two critical messages about former Prosecutor General Yoon on his Facebook.

First, in a post titled "Life is not about cramming," he targeted Yoon by saying, "The spirit of Kim Dae-jung is a philosophy embodied by walking Kim Dae-jung's path. It is not knowledge that can be gained through last-minute cramming."

In the next post, he sarcastically remarked, "I've heard the phrase 'open a horizon,' but this is the first time hearing 'open a horizon line.' You have opened a new linguistic horizon."

He added, "If you want to deeply engrave Kim Dae-jung's teachings, you must follow Kim Dae-jung's path. Would you embrace the descendants of those who oppressed Kim Dae-jung? Is this a vow to deeply engrave Buddhist teachings and go to church? Or is it to deeply engrave the Bible and go to a temple?"
