[Asia Economy Reporter Gong Byung-sun] Emart issued a clarification announcement on the 16th regarding reports in some media that Shinsegae and Naver have been virtually confirmed as the acquirers of eBay Korea.
Emart stated that it participated in the final bidding for the acquisition of eBay Korea's shares on the 7th and is in discussions with the seller, eBay Inc., but nothing has been finalized yet.
