[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Shin Dong-ho] Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (Mayor Seo Dae-seok) announced on the 9th that it recently conducted the ‘Seoro 西路 Connection College Program’ organized by the Social Value Support Center to explore practical measures in daily life to respond to the climate crisis.
Under the theme ‘Climate Crisis, We Ask and Answer,’ the program was held for Seo-gu residents in a total of 8 sessions until the 28th of last month, covering theoretical education and practical projects such as ▲Climate Crisis and Sustainable Future ▲Proper Waste Separation and Resource Circulation ▲Checking Our Household Waste Output ▲Challenge to Live Without Single-Use Products.
Seo Dae-seok, Mayor of Seo-gu, said, “I hope this program served as an opportunity for residents to recognize the seriousness of the climate crisis and to gather experience and wisdom in solving climate issues.” He added, “We will continue to support the expansion of social value awareness and capacity building so that residents can independently solve social problems.”
