Kakao Games to Release Mobile New Title 'Odin' on the 29th

[Asia Economy Reporter Bu Aeri] Kakao Games will officially launch the mobile massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) 'Odin: Valhalla Rising' on the 29th.

Kakao Games announced the release date of Odin through a virtual showcase on the 2nd.

'Odin' will be available for pre-download on Google Play and the Apple App Store starting from the 28th.

This showcase incorporated cutting-edge technology combining augmented reality (AR) and extended reality (XR) for the first time in the domestic gaming industry.

'Odin' is expected to present vast content including top-tier graphics using Unreal Engine 4, 3D scanning, motion capture technology, and the world of Norse mythology.

Jo Gye-hyun, CEO of Kakao Games, stated, "I am confident it will be the best game of the year," and added, "We will do our best to provide high-quality service."
