LG Hausys Launches New Premium System Window Product

[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Dae-yeol] LG Hausys unveiled its new premium system window, LG Z:IN Window Euro System 9 (E9-PLS200), on the 1st.

The new product is a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) system window with excellent insulation and a lift sliding opening method. The lift sliding is a European-style method where the window sash is lifted to open smoothly and lowered to increase airtightness when closed. It meets the highest grades in all basic window performance categories, including energy efficiency and airtightness grade 1, and water tightness grade 50.

Using the company's self-developed multi-chamber wall structure design technology for insulation, the window maintains excellent thermal performance despite its slim design with reduced thickness. The frame thickness of the new product is 200 mm, 5% thinner than existing system windows. Earlier in March, the company filed a patent for the multi-chamber wall structure technology. Additionally, it enhanced quality by using antibacterial handles effective in preventing bacterial growth and high-performance embedded locking hardware. The company stated plans to increase supply to luxury houses, apartments, and townhouses.
