[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] The Jeonnam Regional Post Office announced on the 27th that the Buk Gwangju Post Office in Gwangju Metropolitan City (Director Sunwoo Hwan) recently visited child welfare facilities to carry out the 'Post Love Relay Challenge' social contribution activity.
The 'Post Love Relay Challenge' is a project that started last April with the Jeonnam Post Office and involves post offices in the Gwangju and Jeonnam regions helping neighbors in need in the community in a relay format every month.
Amid growing social concerns about child abuse, the Buk Gwangju Post Office visited three local child welfare facilities: 'Don Bosco Nanum House', 'Haemalgeun Group Home', and 'Pureunsoop Group Home', providing daily necessities worth approximately 2.5 million KRW.
Sunwoo Hwan, director of the Buk Gwangju Post Office, said, "I hope this project will serve as a good opportunity to awaken the sense of community in the local society during this difficult time for everyone due to COVID-19."
