[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] The U.S. Department of Labor announced on the 13th (local time) that the Producer Price Index (PPI) for April rose 0.6% compared to the previous month. This is higher than the initially expected 0.3%.

The core PPI for April, released on the same day, also increased by 0.7% from the previous month, exceeding the forecast of 0.4%.
