Jeju Coast Guard Finds Corpse at Jeju Port Pier 2

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters (Jeju) Reporter Hwang Jeongpil] The Jeju Coast Guard is identifying the identity of a male body estimated to be in his 60s found at Jeju Port, Geonip-dong, Jeju City.

According to the Jeju Maritime Police Station on the 28th, at around 7:34 a.m. that day, a report was received that a dead body was seen at Pier 2 of Jeju Port in Geonip-dong, Jeju City. The Jeju Police Substation and rescue team were urgently dispatched, and after retrieving the body, it was placed in a hospital in Jeju City.

The body, estimated to be a man in his 60s, was wearing a gray jumper, black pants, and black sneakers, and no external injuries were confirmed.

The Jeju Coast Guard stated that they are currently identifying the identity of the body placed in the hospital.
