[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Seodaemun 50 Plus Center is recruiting 34 participants for the '50+ Volunteer Job Project' who will work as local welfare project groups at a total of 20 locations, including senior clubs and vocational rehabilitation facilities for the disabled in Seodaemun, Eunpyeong, and Mapo districts (15 places), as well as 5 youth facilities.


This project is promoted to enhance community welfare through the experience and capabilities of the 50+ generation.


Seoul citizens aged 50 to 67 can apply, and if selected, they will be responsible for local job projects and youth facility support tasks for seven months from May to December this year.


Participants will work up to 57 hours per month and receive an activity allowance of 525,000 KRW (before tax).


Applicants must submit their documents online by the 31st of this month according to the application guidelines for the 50+ Volunteer Job Project posted on the Seodaemun 50 Plus Center website.


After the first document screening and the second interview, the final successful candidates will complete online basic competency education and job training, then start activities at the respective facilities from May 3.


Located on the 2nd floor of Gongyu Campus, 484 Tongil-ro, Seodaemun-gu, the Seodaemun 50 Plus Center actively carries out various education and support activities for changing perceptions, life planning, and seeking new jobs for the 50+ generation.
