[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Seocho-gu (Mayor Eunhee Jo) will operate the nation’s first KakaoTalk channel exclusively for rental business operators, ‘Seocho-gu Office Registered Rental Business Operators,’ and the chatbot ‘Ddokddok Rental Bot’ starting from the 15th.
The ‘Seocho-gu Office Registered Rental Business Operators’ KakaoTalk channel and chatbot service provide real-time delivery of rental business-related laws, various rental business information, and 1:1 consultations through the national messenger KakaoTalk channel. Frequently asked questions are pre-registered to enable immediate responses via the chatbot.
By entering ‘Seocho-gu Office Registered Rental Business Operators’ in the KakaoTalk friend search bar and adding the channel, only Seocho-gu residents and rental business operators of registered rental housing located in Seocho-gu can use the service.
The service hours are weekdays from 9 AM to 6 PM, and the response hours are weekdays from 10 AM to 4 PM.
Due to the recent frequent revisions of real estate policies and related laws causing a surge in rental business inquiries, complaints have continuously arisen from the inability to answer phone calls. The introduction of this KakaoTalk channel is expected to reduce the frequency of handling simple repetitive questions, shorten the waiting time for complaint responses, improve resident satisfaction, and enhance internal work efficiency.
Through continuous monitoring of the operation status of the ‘Registered Rental Business Operators KakaoTalk Channel,’ the KakaoTalk channel service will also be introduced in the future for ‘Community Revitalization Projects’ and other apartment-related projects such as ‘Apartment Autonomy School.’
Mayor Eunhee Jo stated, “Through the ‘Registered Rental Business Operators KakaoTalk Channel’ and ‘Chatbot Service,’ we aim to conveniently deliver consultation and rental business information, minimizing resident inconvenience caused by waiting time delays and narrowing the distance with residents through easy accessibility.” She added, “We will continue to integrate various smart technologies into practical work and make every effort to improve administrative services for residents.”
