Worker Caught in Machine Dies at Jingok Industrial Complex, Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Yoon Jamin] At around 8:30 a.m. on the 8th, worker A (45) was caught in a machine while working at a factory in Jingok Industrial Complex, Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City.

A, who suffered severe upper body injuries, was transported to a nearby hospital by the 119 emergency medical team but ultimately passed away.

The fire department and police are investigating whether workplace safety regulations were followed.
