[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Park Dong-wook] At around 10:43 AM on the 25th, the turbine of Hanul Nuclear Power Plant Unit 4 (Pressurized Water Reactor type, 1 million kW class) at Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters in Uljin-gun, Gyeongbuk, automatically shut down.

According to Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Co., Ltd. Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters, as of 11:54 AM on the same day, the reactor is maintaining a stable state at 44.8% output. Hanul Nuclear Power Plant explained that there was no external radiation leakage due to the turbine shutdown.

KHNP and Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters are currently investigating the exact cause.
