[Asia Economy Reporter Wondara] Citibank Korea will provide loans on preferential terms to Korean companies expanding overseas.
On the 23rd, Citibank signed a "Business Agreement for Supporting Korean Companies' Exports and Overseas Expansion" with the Korea Trade Insurance Corporation at the Korea Trade Insurance Corporation headquarters located in Jongno-gu, Seoul.
According to this agreement, Citibank will offer loans on preferential terms for projects promoting Korea's exports in the fields of ▲green energy and green mobility ▲materials, parts, and equipment ▲new industries, and the Korea Trade Insurance Corporation will also provide insurance and guarantees on preferential terms for these loans.
Myung Soonsun, CEO of Citibank Korea, stated, "By leveraging a close partnership with the Trade Insurance Corporation and Citibank's global network, we will actively support our companies to receive more competitive financial services worldwide."
