KEF Chairman Board Unanimously Recommends Director Lee Dong-geun as Vice President Candidate

[Asia Economy Reporter Changhwan Lee] The Korea Employers Federation has solely recommended Lee Dong-geun, President of the Hyundai Research Institute, as the next vice chairman candidate.

The KEF executive board held a meeting on the morning of the 17th at the Westin Chosun Hotel in Jung-gu, Seoul, and agreed to solely recommend President Lee as the next full-time vice chairman candidate.

The KEF plans to appoint President Lee as vice chairman at the general meeting on the 24th.

President Lee previously served as Director General of the Industrial Policy Bureau at the Ministry of Industry and Resources, Director of the Trade and Investment Office at the Ministry of Knowledge Economy, and full-time vice chairman of the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

President Lee also served as full-time vice chairman when Chairman Son was president of the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
