Samsung Clothing Care Appliance 'Bespoke AirDresser' Launched... 1.29 Million to 1.99 Million KRW

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyewon] Samsung Electronics is launching a new clothing care product with AI features, the 'Samsung Bespoke AirDresser,' on the 3rd.

The Samsung AirDresser is an innovative product that manages clothing cleanliness using 'Air Wash,' which blows powerful air vertically, along with steam, a fine dust filter, and a UV odor decomposition filter.

Riding on the popularity of Bespoke home appliances that reflect consumers' lifestyles and preferences, Samsung Electronics has applied the Bespoke design to the AirDresser, following air purifiers and Wind-Free air conditioners.

The Bespoke AirDresser will be available in a total of eight colors. It is designed to harmonize well when placed alongside Bespoke refrigerators or Grande AI dryers. Newly introduced colors include pink and white, which create a bright atmosphere, as well as beige and charcoal, which offer a warm and comfortable feel.

The 'Crystal Mirror' door, made of mirror material and popular among consumers, will continue to be offered. Samsung Electronics also plans to release replaceable front door panels separately to match the ambiance of different spaces.

Additionally, only about 1.4 cm of space on the left and right and 2.5 cm above are needed for installation, allowing a 'built-in' fit when installed with built-in cabinets or furniture. Thanks to the Air Wash method, which reduces vibration and noise, the product can be used comfortably anywhere indoors.

The Bespoke AirDresser, enhanced with AI technology, enables more convenient and delicate clothing care. This new product features a humidity sensor that detects moisture in clothes, allowing drying and wrinkle removal in one cycle.

If you want to quickly dry a single shirt, you can use the 'Single Shirt' course, which dries it in just 39 minutes. Notably, the number of drying courses has increased from two to nine, providing customized drying for various types of clothing such as shirts, blouses, outdoor wear, and swimwear.

Newly added features include 'AI Habit Memory,' which remembers the user's frequently used courses and recommends them in order, and 'AI Customized Recommendation,' which suggests courses based on usage time, weather, season, and other information.

There is also a sterilization function. Selecting the 'Sterilization Option' in the 'Daily Care Course' can remove 99.9% of viruses such as influenza, adenovirus, herpes, and harmful bacteria like Staphylococcus aureus and E. coli. This option can be added to the course for hygienically important items such as baby clothes, dolls, and daily school uniforms.

The product also includes an internal sterilization function that hygienically manages the AirDresser by sterilizing its interior at high temperatures.

The large-capacity model retains features such as the 'Long Clothes Care Zone,' which can accommodate clothes up to 143 cm in length, and the 'Rotating Kit,' which allows large 4XL-sized clothes to be managed without touching the walls.

The Bespoke AirDresser will be released in standard capacity (3 garments) and large capacity (5 garments) models, with prices ranging from 1.29 million to 1.99 million KRW depending on capacity and color.
