Walk the Seodaemun Bukhansan Smart Jarak-gil and Receive Mobile Seoul Love Gift Certificates

From February 1, walk the 6km section of Seodaemun Mountain (Sillak Children's Park∼Observation Deck∼Pobangteo Shelter∼Okcheonam) taking about 90 minutes, 4 times a month to receive a mobile Seoul Love Gift Certificate raffle ticket.

[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Seodaemun-gu (Mayor Moon Seok-jin) will promote the health coexistence project "Walking Challenge Along Seodaemun Mountains and Traditional Markets" on a monthly basis from February 1 to the end of April.


The February challenge involves walking the Bukhansan Smart Trail (Sillak Children's Park ∼ Observatory ∼ Pobangteo Rest Area ∼ Okcheon Hermitage), a 6km section that takes about 90 minutes. Participants who walk this course four times a month will receive a raffle ticket for the mobile Seoul Love Gift Certificate. However, walking at least 80% of the course is required to be recognized as completing one round.


The district will also hold a Lunar New Year "Traditional Market Stamp Tour Challenge."


By visiting seven local markets (Moraenae, Baekryeon, Sareoga, Yeongcheon, Yujin, Inwang, Pobangteo), participants can collect one online stamp per market, and collecting five or more stamps will also earn a raffle ticket for the Seoul Love Gift Certificate.


Participants can join these walking challenges by installing the "WalkOn" app on their smartphones.


After March 4, the district will hold a raffle and send mobile gift certificates worth 10,000 KRW each to 400 participants in total?200 for the "Bukhansan Trail" challenge and 200 for the "Traditional Market" challenge.


Last year, the district also conducted the "Walking Alone Challenge" 15 times, allowing about 20,000 residents to participate while practicing social distancing and maintaining their health.
