Shinhan Financial Investment Holds Webinar for Beginner Investors

[Asia Economy Reporter Minji Lee] Shinhan Financial Investment announced on the 21st that it will hold a webinar on the YouTube channel ‘Wolgeup Gujodae’ targeting beginner investors who have just started investing in stocks.


The webinar will be conducted at 6 PM on the same day by ‘Champ,’ a former analyst turned YouTuber and author of the book ‘First Stocks.’ During the seminar, participants will be able to ask questions about investing directly through YouTube live chat.

Previously, Shinhan Financial Investment held a pre-event called ‘Ask Anything to Wolgeup Gujodae,’ where participants could submit their investment-related questions in advance. Questions ranged from what percentage of their salary should be invested in stocks by age group, when to buy and sell, how to start studying stocks, how to select investment stocks, and what to consider when purchasing stocks. Answers to these questions will be provided during the webinar.


In addition, the webinar will cover questions related to dividend stocks and dividends, purchasing entities and fees, indicators such as ‘What is PER?,’ as well as procedures for purchasing overseas stocks. Questions can be viewed on the existing Wolgeup Gujodae YouTube channel, and related links will be provided during the webinar.

Shinhan Financial Investment is conducting a ‘New Investment Culture Campaign for Stock Beginners (Joorini)’ by publishing ‘First Stocks’ and offering ‘Credit School,’ which teaches basic information about stocks and credit trading, continuing communication with beginner investors through various content. ‘Credit School,’ part of the campaign activities, can be accessed through the Shinhan Financial Investment mobile app ‘Shinhan Alpha.’
