[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] bhc Chicken announced on the 20th that it held the closing ceremony for the 4th term and the launching ceremony for the 5th term of the university student volunteer group ‘Haebaragi Volunteer Group’ on the 15th.
The launching ceremony was attended by the 5th term members, the 4th term members from last year, and Im Geum-ok, CEO of bhc Chicken. Jo Su-hwan, selected as the representative of the 5th term, said, “I am excited to have been finally selected for the Haebaragi Volunteer Group operated by bhc Chicken, which I have enjoyed eating regularly,” and added, “I will take responsibility and a sense of mission throughout the year to actively care for neighbors in need.”
The closing ceremony for the 4th term of the Haebaragi Volunteer Group, which ended activities last December, was also held. Lee Ji-yeon and Lee Hye-in, who were selected as the best volunteer members among the 4th term, received a scholarship, and all graduates are exempted from the document screening process when applying for a job at bhc Chicken.
CEO Im said, “I express my gratitude to the 4th term volunteer group who sincerely participated in volunteering and successfully completed their duties despite the challenging external environment,” and added, “I am pleased to launch the new volunteer group even if remotely under difficult circumstances, and bhc Chicken will continue to support the Haebaragi Volunteer Group so that young people, the future generation, can practice the meaning of sharing and coexistence.”
The Haebaragi Volunteer Group is a university student volunteer group that started in 2017 as part of bhc Chicken’s social contribution program ‘BSR (bhc+CSR)’ and has been active for five years this year.
