[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] On the 8th, the People Power Party urged Yoon Mi-hyang, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea who celebrated the comfort women ruling, to resign from her position, saying "The comfort women exploitation business has returned."

Hong Jong-gi, deputy spokesperson of the People Power Party, stated in a commentary on the 9th, "Rep. Yoon has returned to her original 'comfort women exploitation' business."

Deputy spokesperson Hong pointed out, "It is shameless for someone who should resign and face trial to once again use the victims of her criminal charges," and added, "It is entirely the Democratic Party's responsibility for nominating Rep. Yoon as a proportional representative and not disciplining her."

He criticized, "Even if all citizens welcome this ruling, Rep. Yoon is not qualified to comment on it," and said, "A normal person would never promote their business by exploiting their own crime victims."

Deputy spokesperson Hong said, "The very fact that Rep. Yoon still holds her position is a disgrace to this country," and urged, "She should stop exploiting comfort women victims immediately and resign from her position."
