Professor Yoon Seok-nyeon of Gwangju University Awarded Commendation by the Korea Communications Commission Chairman

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Gwanwoo] Gwangju University announced on the 5th that Professor Yoon Seoknyeon of the Department of Journalism and Broadcasting received a commendation from the Chairman of the Korea Communications Commission.

Professor Yoon was recognized for his contributions to legislative work while serving as the Chairman of the 4th Korea Communications Commission Broadcasting and Communications Regulation Committee.

Professor Yoon has served as a Gwangju mediator for the Korea Press Arbitration Commission, president of the Korean Broadcasting Society, president of the Gwangju-Jeonnam Press Society, and member of the Regional Newspaper Development Committee. He currently serves as the Special Broadcasting Advisory Committee Chairman of the Korea Communications Standards Commission, Director of Public Relations at Gwangju University, and weekly editor of a newspaper and broadcasting company.
